Scouts BSA Troop 2 Hosts Recruitment Event Oct. 2

Scouts BSA Troop 2 News:

Scouts BSA Troop 2 invites all Los Alamos girls, ages 11-16, to a recruitment event, 6-8:30 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 2, at First United Methodist Church, 715 Diamond Dr.

The Troop will host team games, roller skating, Dutch oven cooking and s’mores roasting.

Troop 2 was chartered in February 2019 and is the first BSA Troop in New Mexico for girls. In just the last seven months, girls from Troop 2 have been rafting, kayaking, hiking and camping. This summer the Troop went to Camp Alexander in Colorado.

They have already learned life and leadership skills that will serve them the rest of their lives. Troop 2 also has completed any number of service projects around town, including earning the Messengers of Peace award from Scouts BSA.
