School Board Candidate Pulls Out Of Race

Update: Los Alamos School Board candidate Naishing Key just told the Los Alamos Daily Post that she was glad to see people active in running for school board this time around because in the past there have been times when that wasn’t the case. “After seeing there are good candidates and weighing my situation, I decided to withdraw,” Key said.

ELECTION News:

Los Alamos School Board candidate Naishing Key filed filed a declaration of Withdrawel of Candidacy this afternoon in the County Clerk’s Office.

Key had filed her candidacy for District 4 Tuesday and told the Los Alamos Daily Post moments ago that she was unable to discuss her reasons for withdrawing from the race but would call back to talk about it at a later time.

Her withdrawel leaves two candidates in the race in District 4 including Andrea Susan Cunningham (ballot position 1) and Michael E. Fassbender (ballot position 2).

The final day to pull out of the race is 5 p.m., Dec. 30.
