Scenes From Topper Volleyball Match Against Capital

Sophia Salazar leads her team onto the floor for a grudge match against the Capital Jaguars Volley Ball team Tuesday evening in Griffith Gymnasium. The Jaguars had defeated the Toppers in the two previous meetings and the Toppers were looking for revenge … they got their wish defeating the Jaguars 3-1. The Toppers continued to show improvement beating another 5A team. The team showed their versatility running 5-1 to begin the night and finished in 6-2 using the strengths of the team to upend the Capital Jaguars. Set one proved to be a tight battle with the Toppers coming from behind to win the set. The Jaguars showed smart play and strong defense to take the second set.
