Scenes From Topper Soccer Against Bosque Bobcats

The Topper Girls and Topper Boys played very strong soccer teams from Albuquerque, the Bosque Bobcats in a double hitter this past Tuesday at Sullivan Field. The Topper Girls had the early game and created many offensive chances shooting 27 times against the Bobcats. Two found their way into the net in the second half: Valerie Li scored off a pass from Vianey Terrazas and Alyssa Parker scored from an assist from Alix Hailey. Leah Wolfsberg and Shelly Doyle did a good job controlling their ball from the back and distributing up to the offense. Good hustle was seen from Izzy Hodge and Alissia Haagenstad. The Topper girls won the contest 2-1. Recap courtesy of Press Box. The Topper Boys also won their game 5-1 with 2 scores in the first half by Nilesh Mukundan followed in the second half with a score by Aiden Semalsberger and 2 by Dakota Duran. The contest was very physical on both sides, which made for a fun match to watch.
