The Los Alamos High School Topper Girls Varsity Basketball Team lost Saturday’s home non-conference game against Hope Christian by a score of 54-42.

The Toppers first home game fielded a young team that struggled against the veteran Hope Christian Huskies.

The team was nervous during the opening quarters of play but as the contest progressed began to come together and play much better in the closing quarters.
