Scenes From T&F Varsity State Championship

Holly Sanchez anchors the girls 4×100 meter relay team that took second place overall in the 2019 NMAA 4A State Track and Field Championship held May 17-18 at the University of New Mexico Dreamstyle Stadium. Sanchez also anchored the winning 4×200 meter relay. The championship held amazing performances by the Los Alamos High School Boys and Girls Track and Field teams, which resulted in 2nd place overall finishes for both teams. More than 40 Topper athletes, who qualified by either time throughout the season or placed first or second at the District 2AAAA meet, competed in the 19 events at the State competition.
