Both teams pose for a photo at the conclusion of the second game of the District Championship hosted by Los Alamos County Little League played on Lou Caveglia Field at the North Mesa Sports Complex. The Los Alamos All Stars played the Pojoaque All Stars in the best of 3 game series on this past Saturday and Sunday. Game one was won by the Pojoaque All Stars 6-5. The game was close but the aggressive base running kept the Los Alamos team on edge the entire game. In the second game, the Pojoaque team kept the pressure on the Los Alamos team with their aggressive base running and once again it paid off and they won 8-6. The Pojoaque team progresses to the state competition July 12-14 in Albuquerque. Photo by John McHale/ladailypost.com
