Scenes From Rotary Club Recent Activities

To recognize the 8th-graders at Los Alamos Middle School who recently participated in the Rotary 4-Way Test Essay Competition, coordinator Andrea Cunningham, left, arranged an ice cream sundae social for the students. Helping Cunningham are from second left, Rotary Club President Laura Loy and members Chris Sierk and Brian Newnam. Also present was Rotary Avenues of Service Chair Oliver Morris, teacher Susan Montoya and many 8th graders. The 4-Way Test states guiding principles for Rotarians: Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build good will and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned? The Test was written by Rotarian Herbert J. Taylor during the Great Depression of the 1930s as a guide for ethics in business. Courtesy photo
