The red ribbon is officially cut this morning on three businesses participating in the Los Alamos Retail Accelerator program, Holiday Pop-up Stores at 174 Central Park Square. Little Studio on the Mesa Owner Joanne Kozuchowski thrilled the crowd this morning at the ribbon cutting when she announced that with the confidence she has gained from testing her business concept through her participation in the Los Alamos Retail Accelerator Pop-Up Stores program, she has purchased a building to house her new business at 113 Longview Dr., in White Rock. She offers locally made jewelry, fused glass ornaments, other art and paint-your-own pottery. The local Retail Accelerator program is sponsored by Los Alamos MainStreet and Chamber with sponsorship from the New Mexico Economic Development Department LEADS program, New Mexico MainStreet and the LANL Community Partnership Office.
