Scenes From Roundhouse Rally Against Business Closures

Maria Martinez and Stephen Garrett of the group Torrance County Citizens for Change speak to law enforcement officers Sunday outside the State Capitol Building in Santa Fe. Martinez and Garrett gathered with others members of Torrance County Citizens for Change said they don’t agree with the governor’s public health mandate and in particular are speaking out against the closure of businesses during the pandemic. The group is calling on businesses to join them in ‘refusing to shut down, refusing to social distance, refusing to force customers to wear masks, refusing to except fines and refusing to willingly provide their identity to anyone’.
