Thursday marked the 75th anniversary of International Credit Union (ICU) Day® and Los Alamos Schools Credit Union (LASCU) celebrated with a special barbecue at the Co-Op Park. LASCU CEO/President Matt Schmidt manned the grill and Supervisory Committee Member Andrea Determan, Executive Vice President Bethany Hayward, Loan Officer Denise Gutierrez and Loan Officer Camille Romero shared side dishes with the crowd that joined the celebration including LASCU members, board members, family and friends. ICU Day® is recognized to reflect upon the credit union movement’s history, promote its achievements, recognize hard work and share member experiences.
