Friday morning, County officials and media participated in a tour of the Los Alamos Golf Community Building under construction on Diamond Drive. Project Manager Anthony Strain conducted the tour of the Community Building, which is scheduled for completion later this spring.

The Golf Course Community Building will accommodate golf operations as well as the community with a multi-functional meeting room, banquet space, kitchen for food service and large outdoor decks.

The upper level of the building will house the golf shop, offices, snack bar/restaurant and multi purpose room, (dining room/meeting room) and a large patio area. There will be a two-sided fire place in the lounge area that also opens to the deck area. The dining/meeting room will have all of the requirements for presentations includimg a ceiling mounted projector, drop down screen and sound system. There also will be Wi-Fi to accommodate the latest technology.

The lower level of the Golf Course Community Building will house cart storage and maintenance.
