Civil Air Patrol Seniors and Cadets attend the promotion ceremony Monday evening at the Los Alamos County Airport. Cadets Zach Lang and John Fox received the Mitchell Award. Achieving this award means they are now promoted to Cadet Second Lieutenant and eligible for advanced placement to the grade of Airman First Class if they choose to join the US Air Force.
