Local first responders including police officers, firefighters, paramedics, 911 dispatchers, police chaplains and fire chaplains and their families were treated to a Christmas Dinner Saturday night sponsored by several churches to thank them for all they do throughout the year to take of and protect the community. Los Alamos Police Chief Dino Sgambellone and Fire Chief Troy Hughes attended the event and expressed gratitude to the churches for this kind gesture.
“We continue to be very thankful and blessed for the support we receive from these churches and each congregation,” Chief Sgambellone said. “The support means a great deal to the first responders and their families.”
Chief Hughes agreed saying, “We cannot thank the multiple churches and members enough for hosting such a fun event to recognize our first responders. We are humbled by the tremendous effort they display every year to make our holiday season a little brighter.”
