Scene Of Overturned Dump Truck At Bottom Of Truck Route

Scene of a vehicle crash this morning in which this dump truck overturned at the bottom of the Truck Route (East Jemez) at mile marker # 9. One person was transported for injuries. There is also a diesel spill. Los Alamos Police, Santa Fe Sherriff’s Office, Los Alamos Fire Department and LANL Hazmat are on the scene. The Truck Route is now closed in both directions … with the western roadblock on East Jemez just east of Elk Ridge Mobile Home Park to allow residents to access Elk Ridge. Driver’s are instructed to please avoid the area and seek alternate routes. A notification will be provided when the roadway is re-opened. Courtesy/LAPD
