SBA Names Ivan Corrales USAF Ret. As New Mexico Deputy District Director

ALBUQUERQUE Ivan Corrales, USAF (Ret) has been promoted to the position of Deputy District Director with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), New Mexico District Office.
 
He is a native New Mexican from Penasco who joined the Air Force after graduating high school and retired after 21 years of military service. He has served in the following capacities during his tenure with SBA since 2010; Economic Development Specialist, Business Opportunity Specialist, Veteran Business Development Officer, Small Business Development Center Project Officer, District International Trade Officer, Women Business Center District Office Technical Representative and Emerging Leaders Program Manager.
 
With SBA program expertise and past experience, he has contributed to the growth of many small businesses in New Mexico. With over 20 years in the Air Force supervising and leading various programs Ivan brings seasoned leadership experience to his new position. Owning and operating a Real estate business as a qualifying Broker gave him hands on experience that has been invaluable as a business mentor and supporter. Ivan is a graduate of Wayland Baptist University with an MBA in Management Information Systems.
