Save a Life at Local Blood Drive May 1-2

When you plan your errands why not add “save a life” to the list any time between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday, May 1 or Friday, May 2 by stopping at the First Baptist Church Blood Drive at 2200 Diamond Dr. in Los Alamos.

Make your convenient appointment to give blood at www.UnitedBloodServices.org or call 505.246.1457. With each donation, donors will have access to their personal Wellness Page, which includes cholesterol test results, blood pressure, pulse, weight and other factors important to monitor. Donors also will earn Hero Rewards points that can be redeemed for gifts from the online Hero Rewards store. 

Volunteer blood donors must be at least 17 years or older (16 years with parental consent), weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and be in good health. Photo ID is required. Donors are encouraged to eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water prior to donating. For more information, visit www.UnitedBloodServices.org.
