SFO News:

Johann Strauss Jr.’s Die Fledermaus returns to The Santa Fe Opera and the fun will begin at the Opening Night Party sponsored by the Guilds of the Santa Fe Opera, Inc.

Drinks, a buffet dinner, and a talk about the opera, presented by Joe Illick, will make the evening memorable. An advocate of education and community outreach, as well as a popular speaker both nationally and internationally, Illick is the Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Fort Worth Opera, and is completing his last season as Artistic Director of Performance Santa Fe.

The event will take place in the Dapples Pavilion at The Santa Fe Opera, 5:30-7:30 p.m. June 30. Members in any of the guilds may register at the discounted price of $70 per person until March 31. On April 1 the price will increase to $80 per person for all registrants, so take advantage of this limited time offer now!

The current production will be directed by Ned Canty (The Daughter of the Regiment, 2015), and feature Kurt Streit, Devon Guthrie, Dimitri Pittas, Jane Archibald, Joshua Hopkins and Kevin Burdette. Mezzo-sopranos Susan Graham and Paula Murrihy, former Santa Fe apprentice, will share honors as Prince Orlofsky, the host for the on-stage merriment created by Strauss.

The evening’s event is a fundraiser for the Guilds of the Santa Fe Opera, Inc. At the discount rate, there is a $25 tax deduction for each ticket purchased. Your receipt will be available upon completion of the registration. All sales are final.
