Nathan Ruby, executive director for Friends of the Children of Haiti (FOTCOH), recently spoke at the Rotary Club of Los Alamos. He described the nonprofit’s work to provide life-saving medical support and education to the Haitian community at large at their clinic in Jacmel, Haiti. Ruby traveled from Illinois headquarters to acknowledge the exceptional volunteer work of Smith’s Los Alamos Marketplace pharmacist Katie Fry, who travels regularly to Haiti to dispense medications with FOTCOH.
