Rotary Club Of Los Alamos Presents Awards

At a recent Rotary Club meeting, three eighth-grade students were selected as winners in the 4-Way Test Essay Competition. The annual contest asks students to reflect upon Rotary’s principles as outlined in the 4-Way Test: Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build good will and better friendships? Is it beneficial to all concerned? Pictured are Dr. Kurt Steinhaus, superintendent of schools, who was also inducted as a new Rotary member; Jake Harding, first place; Harold Sanchez, second place; LAMS language arts teacher Susan Montoya; Elizabeth Booton, third place; and Rotarian Andrea Cunningham, essay coordinator. Photo by Kurt Schoenberg
