Get ready to satisfy your craving for fresh-made chocolate goodness! Rose Chocolatier will open its doors for the first time at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 1.

Even though the chocolate display case is not yet installed, owner Marguerite McClay decided to go ahead and open the shop. A big party will take place later when the case arrives.

Rose Chocolatier is at 991 Central Ave., next to the Department of Motor Vehicles.

“Things are good to go for opening tomorrow,” McClay said. “So stop on by and check out the space and see what chocolates are on hand. Each day I will be adding more to the selection. Also, coffee and tea will be available. You can hang out and view the chocolate process in my open kitchen.”

Once up to full speed, Rose Chocolatier will offer barks, brittles, toffees, caramels, mousses and all kinds of truffles. McClay invites people to suggest their favorite flavors. Dark, milk and white chocolate varieties will be available. Especially for summer, chocolate covered fruit will be available, too.

The shop will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and until 6 p.m. Friday nights. In addition, the shop will take orders for parties and special events.

Visit the shop online at http://www.rosechocolatier.com/ or on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Rose-Chocolatier/159966047384890.
