Rose Chocolatier Extends Business Hours

Rose Chocolatier News:

Rose Chocolatier has extended its hours to accommodate morning coffee runs and Monday school day schedules for a new jobs training program in collaboration with Los Alamos Public Schools and New Mexico Workforce Connection.

The business is open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and closed Sunday. Rose Chocolatier also will close on holiday Mondays when Los Alamos Public Schools are closed, including Monday, Oct. 14 for Indigenous Peoples Day.

Job trainees from Los Alamos High School’s Living Skills program are scheduled to begin their training Tuesday, Oct. 15. The training program for the students is to be funded in part by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.

“We are thrilled to have this opportunity to provide real-life work experience for our students,” Jobs Training Program Director Robyn Collom said.

Job coaches from the high school started their training Oct. 7.

Rose Chocolatier, a cozy kitchen space in downtown Los Alamos specializing in hand-crafted chocolates and pastries, coffees and hot cocoa, is operated by Lemonade Living.
