Rose Chocolatier at 991 Central Ave. is hosting an Art Show and Reception 5-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30.
This new show features work by Ward Zaelke, which will be on display through February on an art wall at the chocolate shop.
Rose Chocolatier also is starting to gather books from local authors to feature in its Book Corner. This section will display resident authors’ books.
“We are excited to showcase these authors and highlight some of the many talented people living here in Los Alamos,” owner Marguerite McClay said. “The only criterion is they must be a Los Alamos resident. We welcome any book-signings that an author may want to schedule at the chocolate shop. We will keep you posted as this area develops.”
The new Flavor of the Month is Lemon Lavender. Several kinds of lavender candies are available. Come in and ask for a sample. Hot Cocoa is the winter specialty.
“Come in and enjoy a cup,” McClay said. “You can sit at one of our small tables and enjoy the free Wi-Fi in a quiet atmosphere.”
Rose Chocolatier is getting ready for Valentine’s Day and taking special requests so just give the store a call at 505.695.1156 or drop by.
