Rojas Best Predictor In ACRR Final Pace Race Of 2024

ACRR News:

Aurea Rojas was the top predictor in the Atomic City Road Runner’s final weekly pace race of the 2024 season held Tuesday on the Canyon Rim Trail. She was 1 second off her predicted time.

Other accurate predictors were:

  • Jan Velechovsky with a 2 second differential;
  • Lynn Bjorklund recording a 4 second difference as well as the first female finisher on the 3 mile course at 24:10;
  • Roxana Candia at 13 seconds off; and
  • Zach Medin with a 27 second differential.

In the 1 mile distance:

  • Levi Gartz, 12, was the top finisher with a time of 7:40; and
  • Lily Nolen, 12, was the best female finisher at 12:07.

In the 2 mile course:

  • Lisa Johnson was the first finisher recording a 23:18; and
  • Michael Cooper was the best male finisher at 23:46.

In the 3 mile course:

  • Paul Geimer the top finisher was with a time of 18:07.

The Club’s 51st season will start at 6 p.m., Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at the Canyon Rim Trailhead on East Road (N.M. 502) across from the Co-operative Market. 1, 2, and 3 mile paved courses will be available.
