Rodeo Royalty From Two Eras: Rodeo Queen Kelsey Decker Of 2019 And Barbara Jean Wilson Of 1956

What better place to photograph local history than in front of the Los Alamos History Museum. Rodeo royalty from two eras came together recently when the 2019 Rodeo Queen Kelsey Decker met Barbara Jean Wilson, the first Los Alamos rodeo queen, who earned the title in 1956. The 2019 Los Alamos County Fair & Rodeo takes place Aug. 9-11, with the Fair & Rodeo Parade held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10. Register for the parade by Aug. 2 by visiting www.LosAlamosMainStreet.com/Events/FairandRodeo. Registration is free, and the theme for this year’s event is ‘Off the Beaten Path’.
