The Los Alamos County Little League season is winding down, coming up on the All Star tournament mid-month.

The Los Alamos Red Sox and the Los Alamos Rockies Majors teams met Monday at Lou Caviglia field on North Mesa.

The game started with both teams scoring one run in the first two innings. In the third inning the Red Sox scored three runs to make the score 4-1. Then in the fifth inning as the rainbow came out, the Rockies put six runs on the board, bringing the score to 8-5, and the Rockies were not able to catch up. The game ended in regulation time and the Rockies were victorious at 8-5.
