Robots Take Center Stage At Bradbury Science Museum Aug. 28

Members of the public can see robots of all different sizes, shapes and uses at Robotics Night 5-7 p.m., Friday, Aug. 28, at Los Alamos National Laboratory’s Bradbury Science Museum in downtown Los Alamos. 

At Robotics Night inside the museum and in the surface parking lot outside adjacent to Central Avenue, watch members of LANL’s hazardous devices team and the Los Alamos Police Department operate their robots.

There also will be robots from the UNM-Los Alamos Robotics Club, Sumo Bot battles with autonomous, battery powered robots, and robots built and operated by the FIRST Robotics teams and the FTC and LEGO league teams.

There is no admission feee for Robotics Night or any events at the Bradbury Science Museum.

Robotics Night is part of the Los Alamos Creative District’s Fourth Fridays initiative, an effort for local businesses to offer extended hours, special programming or discounts one Friday per month.
