Residents Invited To Apply For New Advisory Board

Residents are invited to apply for a new Community Development Advisory Board. The new board was created by the Los Alamos County Council earlier this month and tasked with making recommendations to the Council regarding the development, implementation and enforcement of County property maintenance codes within the corporate boundaries of the County.

Seven members are needed to fill the board. They will serve a three-year term. The application period will close at 5 p.m. June 18.  The Council is expected to appoint Board members at its meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 10 in Council Chambers.

The first meeting of the new advisory board is 5:30 p.m. Monday, July 23 in Room 110 at the Municipal Building. Future meetings will be held the third Monday of each month.
