Republican Marine Veteran Jeremy Gay On Ballot For AG

From the Jeremy Gay for Attorney General Campaign:

GALLUP — Republican Marine Veteran Jeremy Gay is officially on the ballot for the upcoming attorney general election.

In just 13 days, Gay collected 1,976 signatures to meet the filing requirement.

This is a feat that other opponents have four years to complete. By New Mexico law, a minimum of 1,500 signatures are needed to make the ballot, Gay surpassed that number by 476 signatures in less than two weeks.

The number of signatures in such a short time shows that New Mexico believes that Gay is the candidate who can help the community.

“The support I have received is powerful,” Gay said, “and I can’t thank people enough for their help. I hope to work together with New Mexico to create better and safer communities for all of us. I’m honored to receive the support of so many people. As I move forward in this campaign, I hope to show you that I am a man who loves my family, New Mexico, and the law; I will give it my all to help the people in our communities receive justice and equality.”
