COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County Community Services Department (CSD), Parks and Open Space Division, is sharing with the community that the Ashley Pond Park irrigation pump system is out of service due to an unexpected mechanical failure.

Repairs are underway; however, restoring the system will take some time.

In the meantime, Parks and Open Space staff are hand-watering landscaped areas to help maintain the health and appearance of the grounds until the necessary repairs are completed.

While every effort is being made to care for the vegetation, some areas may not receive water as frequently as they would under normal irrigation operations.

The County appreciates the community’s patience and understanding as work to restore the irrigation system is moving as quickly and safely as possible.
