Today, Rep. Stephanie Garcia Richard made her re-election campaign official when she filed all appropriate paperwork to qualify for the November ballot. ‘I am excited to submit over 450 signatures of registered voters spanning all four of the counties that create House District 43,’ Garcia Richard said. ‘I have worked tirelessly for the residents of our district and the outpouring of support shown from voters spanning the entire political spectrum, proves just that. I look forward to continuing my service as your Representative and thank you for the opportunity to move New Mexico forward.’ Garcia Richard was required to submit at least 60 registered Democratic voter’s names in support of her re-election campaign and far exceeded that number with over 350 Democrats and numerous Republicans and independents.
