Staff report:
A newly remodeled lobby greets customers who enter Los Alamos National Bank at 1200 Trinity Dr. in Los Alamos.
The remodel project team kicked off April 14, 2011 with nine individuals representing executive office, purchasing, marketing, teller services, account service representatives, security and administrative staff.
The goal was to update the lobby in a way that created an experience customers would want to repeat.
Once the team developed a conceptual idea of what they wanted, they worked with a group from SMPC, the original architectural firm of the Bank, representatives from Creative Interiors, and Jaynes Construction to bring the idea to life.
While the lobby remodel project is not quite complete, the major changes have been made. The “customer experience wall” will include an interactive monitor, improved signage and more finishing touches like sculptures and/or paintings.
A bank spokesperson said, “We had the privilege of working with individuals at SMPC and Jaynes Construction who worked on the original design and construction of the Bank. They had valuable knowledge about the building and LANB, which they contributed to the project.“
The community is invited to stop by LANB and check out the newly remodeled lobby.
