Registration Underway For Uli’s Annual LEGO Design Competition

Uli’s is excited to announce its annual LEGO Design Competition. Everyone is invited to enter their LEGO creation around this year’s theme: time travel. Prizes will be awarded.

To enter, sign up by visiting or calling the store in the next two weeks. Uli’s is at 800 Trinity Dr. in Los Alamos. The phone number is 505.662.4558. Entries will then be accepted at the store for judging 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, July 21 and Tuesday, July 22. The award ceremony is 1-2 p.m., July 24.

This is a fun, all-ages competition celebrating creativity and imagination. Will your LEGO creation be set in the future or in the past? Perhaps it will be set in an alternate reality. It’s up to you!

Basic Competition Rules:

  • Designs must be original.
  • Team entries are fine but will not be judged.
  • Designs must not contain violence or weapons.
  • Entries will be judged in four age categories: 3–6, 7–11, 12–15, and 16+.
  • Judges will consider four categories: originality, functionality, story and assembly.
