Registration for the University of New Mexico-Los Alamos spring semester opens Monday, Nov. 16, and classes begin Jan. 19.
Class schedules are now available on the UNM-LA campus and in newsstands around Los Alamos and White Rock. Schedules will be arriving in all area mailboxes soon.
The Spring 2016 semester will offer 173 classes with 42 of those being online offerings.

UNM-LA is a branch campus of the University of New Mexico, the state’s flagship university and currently offers 12 Associate of Applied Science degrees, three Associate of Arts degrees, six Applied Science degrees, and six Academic Certificates.
Popular degree programs include Liberal Arts, Pre-Professional Health, Pre-Engineering, and Pre-Business Administration.
With enrollment for the fall 2015semester standing at 967 students, UNM-LA offers some of the most affordable tuition rates in the state and credits earned there easily transfer to UNM in Albuquerque.
UNM-LA offers students an outstanding faculty with 36 percent all having earned their Ph.D., while 89 percent of core faculty earned their Masters or Ph.D. Students at UNM-LA also enjoy individual attention with a student to faculty ratio of 14 to 1.
