Register For 2016 Spring Break Trip To Washington, D.C.

It’s time to sign up for next year’s annual 8th grade spring break trip to Washington, D.C.

This trip is available to Los Alamos Middle School and home school 8th grade students. The trip is a private trip and not a school sponsored trip.

The trip has been a highlight for students in the 8th grade at LAMS for more than 30 years. Sign up online at http://dn.educationaltravel.com/ using ID Number 116072 or call 1.800.468.5899 using the same ID number.

The trip will include sightseeing in and around Washington, D.C. and highlights include the White House, International Spy Museum, Walter Reed Medical Museum, Capitol tour, Newseum, Pentagon Memorial, Washington Monument, Holocaust Museum, Smithsonian, National Zoo, Arlington Cemetery, night tours of the Presidential Monuments, Iwo Jima, Korean, Vietnam Memorials, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, National Aquarium in Baltimore and much more.

The trip will be four days and three nights in duration. The group will stay in a five star hotel minutes from the D.C. sites.

The company is having “Early Bird Sign Up.” Sign up before June 17 and get to travel for the same price as this year’s 8th grade students. Send in a deposit of $49 to take advantage of the “Early Bird Sign Up” and to lock in your price. Deposit after June 17 will be $99.

There is scholarship money available from the company for students needing financial assistance. Contact Worldstrides to obtain information regarding their Flagg Scholarship. Financial assistance from the company is awarded in a first come first serve basis.
