Do you have an eye for fashion and a love for recycling? Want to help change the public perception of trash?
Come to the free Recycled Fashion Workshop hosted by the Los Alamos County Environmental Services to learn the ins and outs of recycled fashion, and begin creating an eco-chic recycled fashion garment to enter in the Second Annual Next Big Idea Recycled Fashion Show Saturday, Sept. 14.
The Recycled Fashion Workshop is 8-10:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 23 at the Pajarito Environmental Education Center, 3540 Orange St. in Los Alamos.
The workshop is open to all ages and will include a presentation displaying some recycled fashion to inspire attendees in creating their own pieces of trash fashion.
Participants are encouraged to bring recyclable materials and waste items they would like to use in creating their outfits.
