“2018 was an amazing year for our team but it’s important that we also look forward through 2019 and beyond,” RE/MAX First Owner/Broker Christopher Ortega said.
With many years of full-time real estate experience, the RE/MAX team offers professional level services with a personal commitment to community.
It is becoming more well known that inventory of homes for sale is nearing all-time lows. While that’s true, RE/MAX First continues to close a similar number of homes to recent years. Simply put, this means that new homes that come on the market cycle through to pending and are sold quicker than they have in the past.
This low inventory does present some challenges to local buyers and Ortega wants to remind folks that there are many brokers in the RE/MAX office with the knowledge and experience to help expand home searches into Santa Fe and other nearby areas. One of the stated goals for 2019 to come out of the recent meeting is to further develop market knowledge to help those buyers considering housing options outside of Los Alamos County.
In addition to a strategic planning session, the RE/MAX First team also participated in a facilitated team building session. Through a series of exercises, they worked on communication, cooperation and problem solving.
“Overall, it reminded each of us that we’re a really strong team,” Ortega said.
The 16 full-time licensed brokers at RE/MAX First look forward to working with the community in 2019.
