RDC News:
The Regional Development Corporation (RDC), a private non-profit economic development organization serving Northern New Mexico, announces the opening of its annual Micro-Grant application process.Â
The MICRO-GRANT FUND provides a small infusion of capital up to $3,000 — to help businesses diversify, sustain or grow revenue, leverage other investment, and put systems in place that lead to growth and create job opportunities. Technical support and information on other funding opportunities is provided to all applicants, regardless of whether or not they are awarded funding.Â
ELIGIBILITY:Â
- For-profit businessÂ
- Business license, CRS#, and a Business-only bank accountÂ
- In business at least 6 months from when application is submittedÂ
- Headquartered in Los Alamos, Mora, Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Sandoval, Santa Fe or TaosÂ
- Preference given to businesses located in rural areas or those not previously awarded
Funds to be used to:Â Â
- Procure needed business equipment
- Purchase consulting services, advertising and/or marketing costs
- Purchase specialized software or training
REQUIREMENTS:Â
- Outline specific purchases that can be completed within 6 months from award date
- Pay for funded purchases and submit paid invoices for reimbursement
- Submit a Micro-Grant Fund application by May 12, 2023
