Rain Drives Co+opRocks! Inside Teen Center

CO+OP News:

Due to persistent rain, tonight’s Co+opRocks! event will be 7-10 p.m., inside the Teen Center and in the space in the Trinity on the Hill Church above the Teen Center.

Co+opRocks! is a music and art based event for teens. The evening kicks off with improv by the High School Theater Department, followed by local musicians including Sonji, Ryan Van Cleave, Matt Tapia, Nathan Lindsey, Michelangelo Lobato, Kile Uhlenbrock and Cody Ulibarri.

Recycled art projects and a historical hands-on loom are free art activities available during Co+opRocks! The art activities are provided by Fuller Lodge Art Center, the Historical Society and the Los Alamos Co+op Market.

Co+opRocks! is made possible by support from the Los Alamos Teen Center, the Los Alamos Co+op Market, the Next Big Idea Festival and STEM Student Day.

The Co+op opened March 2 of 2011. Its mission includes promoting awareness about food, nutrition, health and cooperative values. Visit losalamos.coop for more information or find the Los Alamos Co+op Market on Facebook for updates.
