Quinten Brown Sworn Into U.S. Marine Corps

Los Alamos High School 2016 graduate Quinten Brown was sworn into service Monday for the U.S. Marine Corps during a ceremony in Albuquerque.

Brown will spend the next 13 weeks in boot camp at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego after which he will begin electrical maintenance school.

Present for the swearing-in ceremony were his mother, Jennifer Jung and her husband, Adam; father, GR Brown and his wife, Rosie Brown, sister Hannah Jameson and brother Preston Brown.

Also present was Brown’s friend Zoe Schreiber who also enlisted in the Marine Corps and is headed to Parris Island, South Carolina in October.
