Twenty 4- and 5-year-old children from Quemazon Montessori School participated in a field trip this morning to Smith’s Marketplace. They checked out all the different seafood available and tasted foods such as sausage, sushi and Murrays cheese. The children capped off their visit with fruit and especially enjoyed the watermelon, said Kathryn Fulton of Smith’s. ‘We all had a lot of fun and we invited them to have a watermelon party on our patio when it warms up,’ Fulton said.
