April 16, Terry May, CEO of MESA, a small business in Oklahoma, will keynote the two-day Learning Summit. May will talk about overcoming all the challenges of growing from a very small business to a dynamic, sustainable organization. He’ll talk about MESA’s early efforts at performance improvement leading to their embrace of the Baldrige Criteria, how that impacted the organization and how MESA uses it to chart its future. MESA offers an example to any small business that the value of Baldrige can relate to any size organization. MESA received the Baldrige Award in 2006 and 2012.
The two-day Learning Summit features world-class leaders who’ll share “best management practices” on “How Systems Thinking Leads to Innovation,” “Linking Core Competencies to Workforce Management,” “Closing the Knowing-Doing Gap,” “Keeping Your Brand Relevant,” “A How-To Strategic Plan,” and more. In addition, recipients of the 2013 NM Performance Excellence Awards” will be recognized.
