Purgatory Resort: Weekend Operations Begin Sunday

As summer is winding down and fall is just around the corner, Purgatory Resort announces weekend operations beginning Sunday, Aug. 14.

The resort will be open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays, Aug. 20 to Oct. 2, plus Labor Day.

Purgatory offers a range of family-friendly attractions, including the area’s only lift-served mountain bike park, alpine slide and Inferno mountain coaster.

Purgatory will continue to host free live music every weekend and signature events like the Mushroom and Wine Dinner or test your mettle at the Trail Party Enduro or Mountain Marmot Trail Run.

For competitive cyclists, Purgatory will host the Downhill Rockies race series in August and USA Cycling Collegiate Mountain Bike Championships in October. Visit purgatory.ski/events for the full schedule.
