PULSE And THE PULSE OF Life June 17-18

New Mexico Garden Clubs, District 2 members of Floral Designers’ (Los Alamos and Santa Fe), Los Alamos Garden Club and Summit Garden Club (Los Alamos) will hold a Standard Flower show THE PULSE OF Life to coincide with the opening of PULSE, Friday and Saturday June 17-18 at Fuller Lodge Art Center.
The Flower show includes 3 Divisions. Design: Creative Floral Designs will be staged in the Art Center with the opening of the show “PULSE”.
The Design titles for THE PULSE OF Life include:
  • Pulse of the City  Floor Design;
  • Pulse of the Children – Small Design;
  • Pulse of the Crowd – Creative Line Mass;
  • Pulse of the Symphony – Multi Rhythmic; and
  • Pulse of the Universe – Sculptural Form.
Horticulture: the entries will include plants grown in this area.
Educational: an exhibit from PEEC. “Wild Flowers of the Jemez Area.”
Horticulture and Educational: will be displayed in the entrance to Fuller Lodge. The entries will comply with the standards from the National Garden Clubs (NGC). “Handbook for Flower Shows” and be judged by NGC Accredited Flower Show Judges. Awards will be given based on the NGC Flower Show Handbook. District 2 members are looking forward to sharing in this exciting and creative show.
