On The Job In Los Alamos: Assisting First Responders
On the job Monday at Fire Station 3 in White Rock is Carl Russell, DMin, MA, LPCC a volunteer from the New Mexico Crisis Support Team (NMCST). Russell offered to facilitate a critical incident debriefing for local first responders involved in the recent tragedies in Los Alamos and White Rock. The NMCST is comprised of 15 volunteer mental health professionals, clergy and peer support personnel who have received special training to intervene with individuals who have experienced a critical incident or traumatic event.
