U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Takes Steps To Protect Nation’s Supply Of Gasoline During COVID-19 Pandemic

EPA News:

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced Friday several steps the Agency is taking to protect the Nation’s gasoline supply in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

EPA intends to provide additional flexibility to the marketplace to transition from winter-grade, high volatility gasoline to summer-grade low vapor pressure gasoline.

STATE News:

SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials announced today 17 additional positive tests for COVID-19.

Per the New Mexico Department of Health, the most recent cases are:

  • 11 new cases in Bernalillo County
  • 3 new cases in Chaves County
  • 1 new case in Doña Ana County 
  • 1 new case in Eddy County
  • 1 new case in San Juan County 

The Department of Health reported Thursday an additional death in New Mexico related to COVID-19.
