SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials announced today eight additional positive tests for COVID-19

Per the state Department of Health, the most recent cases are: 

Two new cases in Bernalillo County:

  • A female in her 60s.
  • A male in his 30s.

Two new cases in Doña Ana County:

  • ​A female in her 50s.
  • A female in her 20s.

One  new case in McKinley County:

  • ​A male 9 years old.

One new case in San Juan County:

  • ​A male in his 50s.

Two new cases in Santa Fe County:

  • ​A male in his 30s.
  • A male in his 40s.

State Boards & Commissions Division Suspends Requirement For Continuing Education Due To COVID-19

STATE News:

SANTA FE — Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department’s Boards and Commissions Division is suspending the requirement for proof of continuing education for those who have licensure expiration dates through July 31, 2020.

Once the restrictions have been lifted, licensees will have specified period of time to submit their continuing education credits to their applicable board.
