ALBUQUERQUE  State Police officers, in conjunction with New Mexico Corrections Department Security Threat Intelligence Unit (STIU) working on the Analysis Led Recidivism Team (ALeRT) initiative, located and arrested Monday wanted fugitive Robert Martinez.
 
Martinez was an absconder from the New Mexico Corrections Department for charges relating back to receiving/transferring a stolen motor vehicle. Jessica Mena, who was located with Martinez was arrested for an unrelated outstanding warrant.

Pandey Preliminary Hearing Continued

COURT News: 

 

A preliminary hearing in Los Alamos Magistrate Court for Sachin Pandey on charges of aggravated battery, false imprisonment and attempt to commit sexual assault has been continued to Jan. 5.

Assistant District Attorney said last Friday that he was not prepared and asked for a continuance. Pandey’s attorney Daniel Cron did not object to the continuance but advised the Court of the inconvenience to Pandey’s mother and sister who had traveled from Philadelphia and San Francisco respectively for the hearing.

According to a leaked report by the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) may lose a project to produce plutonium pits to South Carolina.
