Conejos Fire Grows To 185 Acres

SFNF News:

SANTA FE – Scattered thunderstorms in the Jemez Mountains over the weekend put a fair amount of moisture on the Conejos Fire, but not enough to extinguish it.

Fire managers released some of the resources assigned to the fire over the weekend.

The plan is to wait out the monsoonal weather patterns over the area now and, if the moisture is followed by a drying trend, resume firing operations later in the week to complete an 800-acre block.

FBI: Up To $1,000 Reward For Info On Bank Robber

The FBI and Santa Fe Police Department are looking for a man who robbed a Wells Fargo Bank branch Friday afternoon in Santa Fe.

The suspect is described as a white male in his early 30s, approximately 5’10” tall, with a short beard and possibly short, dark blonde hair.
