FBI, U.S. Attorney’s Office Prepare For Potential Violence, Ask Public To Send information, Photos Or Videos

The FBI’s Washington Field Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying individuals who made unlawful entry into the United States Capitol Building and assaulted federal law enforcement personnel Jan. 6, 2021, in Washington, D.C. Anyone with information regarding these individuals, or anyone who witnessed any unlawful violent actions at the Capitol or near the area, is asked to contact the FBI’s Toll-Free Tipline at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) to verbally report tips. SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials announced this afternoon 1,266 additional positive tests for COVID-19.

Los Alamos County reports 17 more cases today … the total is now 378 people who have tested positive for COVID-19.

Today’s update includes389 new deaths in New Mexico related to COVID-19.

The New Mexico Department of Health reports today’s most recent cases:

  • 291 new cases in Bernalillo County
  • 77 new cases in Chaves County

Los Alamos County’s Emergency Management Office is coordinating with the New Mexico Department of Health to hold COVID-19 “swab” testing clinics for anyone wishing to be tested for the coronavirus

The clinics are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Tuesday at Fuller Lodge.

DOH, through the County Emergency Management Office, will be at Fuller Lodge 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesdays to administer the COVID-19 “swab” for anyone wishing to be tested for the coronavirus.

DPU Electric Linemen Investigating Reported Power Outage

FINAL Update: Power is restored to all customers in the Trinity/Oppenheimer area.  

UPDATE: As of 1:20 p.m. today, DPU electric linemen have identified the source of the reported power problems in the Trinity/Oppenheimer area. Crews will terminate power to all customers in the area (including the Mary Deal building and the Ponderosa Apartments) so that they may complete repairs. Power should be fully restored to all affected customers by 2:30 PM. Department officials thank customers for their patience.
